Creative Traffic Partner
Open Partners is a digital-first agency built to thrive in today’s condition and for the unexpected needs of tomorrow. We are looking for a Partner to lead our studio operations—a senior, self-sufficient, and proactive leader who can lead operational excellence in our high-growth studio.
As the agency scales, you will take full ownership of the studio function, ensuring that despite high volume and the fast paced nature of our business, the right person is always on the right task.
Overview of Role
The Creative Traffic Partner is responsible for leading the studio workflow and creating a seamless interface between client demand and creative output. You will be an expert in your area, constantly thinking "outside the box" to progress our operational efficiency as we scale. Your focus will be on Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction by ensuring the studio team is empowered to do their best work through better-managed briefs and timelines.
Role Responsibilities
Workflow Leadership: Take full ownership of the studio "Function," managing the end-to-end trafficking of all creative jobs from inception to delivery.
Brief Management: Implement rigorous standards for project intake, identifying and resolving incomplete or poor briefs before they enter the studio workflow to ensure briefs are focused on meeting client objectives / KPIs and solve client problems.
Resource Allocation: Act as the central point for the studio team, strategically assigning tasks based on skill set, capacity, and priority to maximize effectiveness and consistently deliver work to deadlines.
Process Optimization: Design and implement scalable work-delivery systems to manage rush jobs and short turnarounds without compromising quality.
Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Creative Director & Creative Managing Partner to forecast resource needs for the next year of high-growth trajectory, working to agency and client budgets.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the agency and effectively manage expectations and ensure a "holistic" approach to the marketing funnel. Effectively manage competing and changing priorities across the agency.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have 4-5+ years of experience in traffic management or studio operations within an agency environment.
Be an exceptional strategic thinker with the ability to undertake long-term planning for studio growth.
Possess a positive, flexible, can-do attitude even when dealing with high-pressure, short-turnaround requests.
Be able to coordinate and prioritize a high volume of tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm, approachable demeanor.
Highly adaptive and excellent at problem solving
Show confidence in storytelling and communication, effectively "selling" the importance of proper processes to the wider agency.
Be self-motivated and proactive, identifying and solving bottlenecks before they become issues.
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to lead people when under pressure
Profile & Values
We look for those who see the world differently and question the norm. You should embody our core values:
Smarter: Aim high and embrace the next evolution of studio management.
Faster: Learn, adapt, and act fast to meet the demands of a scaling agency.
Better: Think, say, and do what is best for the creative output and the team.
Benefits and Rewards
Flexibility: Flexible and remote working options
Time Off: 25 days annual leave, Bank Holidays, and an extra day off for your birthday.
Wellbeing: Private Health Care, subsidised gym membership, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
Growth: Up to 56 hours of paid time off annually for training and payment towards professional subscriptions.
Security: Generous Life Assurance (4x Salary) and Company Sick Pay.
Community: Monthly paid team socials and 40 hours of paid time for voluntary work per year
KPIs:
Workflow Efficiency: Achieve a measurable reduction in "rush job" friction by implementing a standardised studio intake process and resource scheduling system.
Brief Quality Score: Increase the percentage of "Studio-Ready" briefs by 50% through the development and enforcement of mandatory brief templates and stakeholder training.
Resource Utilisation: Maintain an optimal balance of task distribution across the creative team, ensuring high-priority jobs are assigned to the correct skill sets while hitting 100% of critical deadlines.
Operational Scalability: Successfully design and execute a studio growth roadmap that supports the agency’s trajectory for the next 12 months without a decline in output quality.
Culture & Engagement: Evidence of improved studio morale and reduced burnout through better workload management and "smarter" ways of working.
