Data Visualisation Associate Partner
Role Purpose
The Data Visualisation Associate Partner You are responsible for the hands-on configuration, building, and maintenance of our ThoughtSpot environment. Working directly under the Data Visualisation Partner, you will turn data requirements into functional "Liveboards," conducting the granular data testing required to ensure total accuracy, and providing day-to-day support to internal and external users to ensure they can access the insights they need.
Role Responsibilities
Execute the technical build of ThoughtSpot Worksheets and Liveboards, ensuring visualisation types and user interfaces are intuitive and aligned with design specifications.
Conduct rigorous, granular Quality Assurance on all dashboards, writing and running SQL queries to validate front-end numbers against raw database tables before they reach the review stage.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides, ensuring that every data product has a clear instruction manual for end-users.
Act as the first line of support for dashboard users, troubleshooting access issues, data discrepancies, or functionality questions in a timely manner.
Monitor data freshness and pipeline health daily, flagging interruptions to the Data Engineering team to minimize downtime for clients.
Assist in the translation of data, working with the Partner to map raw data fields to business-friendly metrics within the visualisation platform.
Manage ad-hoc analysis requests, building temporary views or permanent liveboards.
Support the training strategy by preparing training materials and occasionally co-hosting sessions to upskill internal teams on new features.
Implement design updates based on feedback, ensuring consistent branding and UX standards are applied across the entire dashboard portfolio.
Your KPIs / Outputs
Build Accuracy: Ensure 100% data match rates between the visualisation layer and the source database during the QA phase.
Delivery Speed: Execute dashboard amendments and new build requests within agreed timelines to keep client roadmaps on track.
Support Resolution: Minimize the Time to Resolve for user support tickets and access requests.
Documentation: Ensure 100% of live client dashboards have up-to-date user guides and technical definitions documented including data dictionaries.
Platform Health: Proactively identify and report failed data loads or broken visualisations before the client notices.
User Satisfaction: Achieve high satisfaction scores from internal teams regarding the clarity and usability of the data views you build.
Role Details
Reports to: Data Visualisation Partner
Responsible for: Leading technical collaboration with ThoughtSpot partners, overseeing end-to-end dashboard builds, owning QA processes, and driving user adoption through training and strategy.
Location: Manchester/London & Hybrid.
Hours / Days: 37.5 hours, over 5 days per week.
Contract basis: Permanent.

Skills & Experience required:
Must Have:
Proficiency in Data Visualisation tools (ThoughtSpot is preferred, but experience in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio is transferable).
Solid SQL skills (ability to write SELECT statements with JOINS and WHERE clauses to validate data).
Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc., for manual data validation).
Experience cleaning or manipulating data sets for analysis.
Intermediate AI/prompt engineering knowledge.
Desirable:
Experience specifically with ThoughtSpot search-driven analytics.
Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles for dashboards.
Experience writing technical documentation or user guides.
Knowledge of marketing metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS).
